The Team

Fabrice Monceaux, Co-publisher

Fabrice_Monceaux_InRod-400Fabrice has dedicated his life to his passion: American cars. Trained as an arts director, he later led his own ad agency in Paris before coming to Canada to launch the printed V8 Passion magazine. He bought his first collector’s car at the age of 17, a 1958 Chevrolet Belair, and his collection and collecting passion has grown ever since.

2007 saw the presentation of his V8 Passion Speedster 31 project as part of the VAG de Granby show, and later the same year was asked to showcase it at Burlington’s NSRA show in Vermont. He has been able to establish V8 passion as the reference publication for the hobby in the province of Quebec and in French-speaking Canada. Fabrice was the spokesperson for the 2010 edition of the Granby show.

Philippe Crowe, Co-publisher & Editorial Director

Phil_Crowe-400Philippe has been working in publishing and communications since 1994, as photographer, director of creation and editor. Based out of Montreal, him and his team were regularly working on contracts out of Toronto, New York, South America and Europe, producing printed brochures, photography and copy, mostly for the automotive and the mining industries.

Now in the greater Toronto area, Philippe has been an avid car buff and is often described as having motor oil running in his veins. He has been involved with and/or led the editorial teams of Quebec Tuning, Auto Journal, CarCare Business, Fleet Digest, Tire News, HybridCars.com, World of Wheels, Carguide and Canadian AutoWorld.

He has raced cars in Europe and in North America, most notably a race-prepped 1978 Pontiac Firebird on the legendary Nurburgring, rallying a 1986 Peugeot 205 GTI in Belgium, and driving a 2005 Subaru Legacy GT in the 2004 Targa Newfoundland for Subaru Canada’s official rally team.
