I already see the frown on your forehead\u2026 Before you get a headache trying too hard to figure it out, Satin Vapor is SRT\u2019s new edition, or trim level, of three of its powerful rear-wheel drive models.<\/p>\n

\"SRT_SatinVapor_Wheel-600\"<\/a>The Chrysler Group LLC\u2019s SRT (Street and Racing Technology) brand announced at this year\u2019s Chicago Auto Show it is expanding its 2014 vehicle lineup by offering new Satin Vapor Editions of its Canadian-built Chrysler 300 SRT, Dodge Challenger SRT and Dodge Charger SRT models.<\/p>\n

We spoke to Chrysler\u2019s PR team and yes, these special editions will also be offered in Canada. The exact timeline for their availability is not yet known, but the second quarter of this year, as in the U.S., is very likely.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re responding to the diversifying tastes of our performance enthusiast customers by expanding our product lineup to offer more custom models straight from the factory,\u201d said Ralph Gilles, President and CEO \u2013 SRT Brand and Motorsports, Chrysler Group LLC. \u201cBuilding on our core vehicle strategy, the Satin Vapor Edition models add some swagger with new, brand-exclusive finishes and content that augment the value proposition of our popular \u2018Core\u2019 price classes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Here is a breakdown of how each model will get the Satin Vapor treatment.<\/p>\n

300 SRT Satin Vapor Edition<\/h1>\n

\"SRT_300_SatinVapor-600\"<\/a>Chrysler explained on the exterior, the new Satin Vapor Edition of the 300 SRT offers 20-inch by-9-inch forged-aluminum split five-spoke wheels with a Black Satin Vapor Chrome finish, Satin Black mirrors, Satin Black spoiler, grey 6.4-liter HEMI badge, Satin Black roof and red Brembo calipers.<\/p>\n

Exterior paint colors choices include Bright White, Billet Silver and Granite Crystal. An optional black body stripe is also available.<\/p>\n

The interior of the 300 SRT Satin Vapor Edition features black seats trimmed in Nappa leather with ultra-suede inserts various matte carbon and piano black accents surrounding the instrument panel, door bezels and center console.<\/p>\n

Under the hood is the same engine as for every 300 SRT model, the 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 delivering 470 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque. The active exhaust system also allows for straight-through mid and rear mufflers for a throaty exhaust note under engine load.<\/p>\n

The manufacturer\u2019s suggested retail price (MSRP) of the 300 SRT Satin Vapor Edition package in the U.S. is $2,300. Canadian price not yet available.<\/p>\n

Challenger SRT Satin Vapor Edition<\/h2>\n

\"SRT_Challenger_SatinVapor-600\"<\/a>For the Challenger SRT Satin Vapor Edition, Dodge said it will feature 20-inch by-9-inch forged-aluminum split five-spoke\u00a0 wheels with a Black Satin Vapor Chrome finish, Satin Black mirrors, grey 392 HEMI badge, red Brembo calipers and Satin Black fuel door.<\/p>\n

The Challenger SRT Satin Vapor Edition will be available in Bright White, TorRed, Header Orange and Graphite.<\/p>\n

The interior features charcoal seats trimmed in Nappa leather with ultra-suede inserts and mini-carbon bezel instrument panel.<\/p>\n

Like for the 300, nothing changes under the hood where the Challenger SRT is powered by the proven 392-cubic inch (6.4-liter) HEMI V-8 that delivers 470 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque.<\/p>\n

In the U.S., the MSRP of the Challenger SRT Satin Vapor Edition package is $1,700 with Canadian price not yet available.<\/p>\n

Charger SRT Satin Vapor Edition<\/h3>\n

\"SRT_Charger_SatinVapor-600\"<\/a>On the Carger front, Dodge said the Charger SRT Satin Vapor Edition offers 20-inch by-9-inch forged aluminum split five-spoke wheels with a Black Satin Vapor Chrome finish, Satin Black Super Bee tail graphic, Satin Black roof and hood, Satin Black mirrors and spoiler, grey 392 HEMI badge and red Brembo calipers.<\/p>\n

Exterior colors will include Bright White, Billet Silver, TorRed and Graphite.<\/p>\n

For the interior, the Charger SRT Satin Vapor Edition features premium black seats trimmed in Nappa leather with ultra-suede inserts and includes the Uconnect Media Center with the 8.4-inch touchscreen LED display.<\/p>\n

You guessed it, under the hood will be the same 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 that delivers 470 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque.<\/p>\n
