Classic Industries has started production of new shaker hood scoops and fender louvers for 1970 to 1981 Pontiac F-body.

The company said these new reproduction parts offer an original appearance and fit.

With an intake scoop shaking through an opening in the hood, and fender louvers venting air out of the side, it was very easy to envision the 1970-81 Pontiac Trans Am models as living, breathing machines.

Owners of these classic Pontiacs can now purchase reproductions of these signature front-end components to keep their vehicles looking factory fresh.

“Over the years, Shaker scoops and fender louvers have become difficult to find in good condition,” said Ray Yager, Classic Industries Merchandising Director. “With the availability of these new reproductions, enthusiasts no longer have to hunt through salvage yards, swap meets, and classified ads for repairable used parts. This is great news for Trans Am enthusiasts that need these parts to complete their restorations”

These reproduction front-end components for second generation Pontiac Trans Am models are manufactured to factory specifications from fiberglass, as original. Each shaker hood scoop and fender louver has been designed to provide an authentic replacement for damaged or missing original components.
