Stromberg Carburetor has launched a remote pump fuel line kit for its Genuine 97 carburetor.
This kit extends the application to a far wider range of Ford flathead 2×2 intakes; there are also six new polished / chrome kits as well as new prices across the whole TwoStep Fuel Line range.
Designed and manufactured exclusively by Stromberg Carburetor, the new remote pump kits, 9141-RP and its polished brother 9141-RP-P feature what the company calls a unique ‘fuel in’ fitting for a stock early Ford fuel line (to the firewall) or a Stromberg 9080K Superseat hose end (available separately).
With its 4-3/4in carburetor spacing, the kit is made to fit Offenhauser 1090 & 1075 2×2 intakes, the Edelbrock 1103 2×2 Slingshot, Navarro 2×2 Regular, older Weiand 2×2 manifolds, and both Eddie Meyer and Thickstun PM-7 2×2 High-rise intakes. New polished versions (with chromed brass Ford nut fittings) of all of the current Stromberg fuel lines, extend the line-up even further.
“Our new RP lines fit a huge range of popular 2×2 intakes,” said Stromberg owner, Clive Prew. “The polished kits fill the gap for our chrome 97 customers. And we’re working on new kits for other applications too.”
The company says that all Stromberg fuel lines combine clean, simple looks with leak-free construction and simple installation. The CNC mandrel-bent 1/4inch 304 stainless steel lines feature unique stainless tee-pieces with leak-free, OE-style furnace brazed joints. Every Stromberg TwoStep fuel line comes with full instructions and further help is available via the Stromberg Tech Center.
